The Mural Lounge and the Main Dining Room (the two largest) have billowing draperies, gilded moldings, marble fireplaces and two-story high ceilings, all reminiscent of a European castle.
Main Dining Room is perfect for elegant dining, dancing, wedding receptions and any large party. Located on the fourth floor with a panoramic view of Lake Merritt, the Dining Room features fine linen, china, crystal chandeliers, a grand piano and original ballroom size dance floor. The Dining Room is available for catered events year-round, daily 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in five hour blocks. Capacity is:
- Up to 150 for sit-down service with dance floor
- Up to 175 for sit-down service without dance floor
- Up to 200 for stand-up reception with dancing
Mural Lounge is adjacent to the Main Dining Room on the fourth floor. The Mural Lounge, a picturesque place for a ceremony, is named for the pastoral scenes painted over the fireplace and entryway. Other treasures fill the room: a whimsically hand-painted Mason Hamlin grand piano. The Mural Lounge is decorated with crystal chandeliers and elegant period style furniture. Mural Lounge capacity is:
- 50 - 150 for stand-up reception
- Up to 100 for wedding ceremony
Terrace Room is on the fourth floor and has a panoramic lake view from its terrace. The Terrace Room is distinguished by a hand-painted mural above a black marble fireplace. Terrace Room capacity is:
- Up to 90 for receptions
- Up to 55 for sit-down dining service
- Up to 40 for workshops/seminars
Wisteria Room is on the fourth floor next to the Terrace Room, and overlooks Lake Merritt. The Wisteria Room is named for the flowered pattern on the hand-blocked linen drapery that frames two large windows with lake views. Wisteria Room capacity is up to 16 for sit-down dining service or meetings.
Emerald Room is on the third floor of the clubhouse. Capacity is up to 20 for sit-down service or meetings.
Crystal Lounge is on the fifth floor of the clubhouse, has views of Lake Merritt and contains a full bar. It is available on Saturdays for sponsored groups to have beverages and hors d'oeuvres.
Committee Room, on the second floor, seats up to 18 for board room style meetings.
